Varsity Football and Volleyball Teams Open Preseason this Weekend

The Campbell Football team will open their 2022 preseason vs. Kailua on Friday, 8/12. Kickoff for the JV games is set for 5pm with the Varsity to follow. Tickets are available using the link below.

Our Girls Volleyball programs are also in action this weekend. The Varsity and Varsity II teams are participating in the McKinley Tournament 8/12-8/14. Tickets available using the link below.

The JV Volleyball team is participating in the Kamehameha tournament 8/12-8/13.

Seniors Christie Jiang and Diego Betancourt selected as Campbell’s 2021-22 Outstanding Student-Athletes

Congratulations to Christie Jiang and Diego Betancourt for being selected as the 2021-22 Female and Male Outstanding Student-Athletes.

They will each receive a $1000 scholarship sponsored Spectrum OC16 and the OIA.

Christie Jiang lettered in Cross Country, Swimming, and Track while at Campbell. She was crowned as the OIA 100m Freestyle Champion. Her greatest accomplishments can be found in the classroom where where she finished her career as a Valedictorian with a 4.16 GPA. She also served as the Student Association President. Christie will be attending New York University in the Fall.

Diego Betancourt lettered in Football and Basketball. One of the most versatile players in the state, Diego earned an All State selection. He also earned honorable mention basketball in his senior season. Diego finished his career with a 3.4 GPA. Diego will be attending the University of Hawaii Manoa in the Fall.

Components in this document are necessary to conduct an OIA athletic event until COVID-19 pandemic restrictions are no longer in effect. Subject to change.

Mask Wearing

Masks are required for all spectators during indoor events. Spectators’ mask wearing for outdoor sporting events will be optional.

Vaccination

Spectators need to be fully vaccinated or provide a negative COVID-19 test taken within 48 hours of the event - an antigen or PCR test taken through a CLIA-certified laboratory or under an approved CLIA Certificate of Waiver will be accepted. 

Ages 11 and under do NOT require a proof of vaccination and/or negative COVID test for all events.

Admission
General Admission will be charged for ages 6 and above for paid events.

Ticket sales on-line via Ticket Spicket ONLY. General Admission price for all. Up to five (5) tickets per purchase limit. (A service charge will be added to the ticket price). No Student Activity Passes will be accepted.

Congratulations to our Wrestling Team

Congratulations to our Wrestling program on another successful season. 20 wrestlers qualified and competed for the HHSAA State Championships this past weekend.

A special congratulations goes our to our OIA Champions and state medalist.

Girls Basketball Team Wins the OIA Championship

Congratulations to our Varsity Girls Basketball Team. They defeated Mililani 37-26 to win Campbell’s first OIA basketball championship in school history.

Our Lady Sabers advance to the HHSAA championships held February 14-19 and will play the winner of Moanalua and Waiakea on Thursday, 2/17 at Moanalua High School. Tip off is set for 5:00pm. Tickets are on sale on GoFan.com (link available below).

OIA to allow Spectators beginning January 31

Beginning Monday, January 31, 2022 the OIA will implement the following changes to the League’s event guidelines.

Spectators

Spectators will be allowed in a limited capacity. All spectators need to be fully vaccinated or provide a negative COVID-19 test taken within 48 hours of the event-an antigen or PCR test taken through a CLIA-certified laboratory or under an approved CLIA Certificate of Waiver will be accepted. I D and proof of vaccination or negative test s hall be required upon entry with the e-ticket.

CVS to offer COVID Testing on Campus

Campbell High School will begin a new on-site COVID Testing Program. CVS is working with our school to provide FREE Rapid Antigen Tests every Thursday from 10:45AM-2:45PM.

All testing participants must have consented prior to testing day. To do so you can use this link or the attachment for the QR code. Enter this voucher code W6ZPQWK . Enter the information to consent for testing. Only students and staff can test on campus and limited tests are available. Family members can use the same link and voucher code to get tested at a participating CVS location.

OIA Updated Guidance Regarding Spectators and Masks

Events Guidance for Spectators (1/03/2022)

Components in this document are necessary to conduct an OIA athletic event until COVID-19 pandemic restrictions are no longer in effect. Subject to change.

Based on the rising number of COVID-19 cases, the OIA is focused on continuing athletic activities for the student athletes.

The OIA will NOT ALLOW spectators at OIA events until further notice. Refunds will be processed for tickets purchased.

Mask Wearing is required for all actively participating/coaching in athletic events.

 Student-athletes actively participating/competing in: Paddling, Swimming & Diving, Wrestling do not need to wear masks. However, these participants must wear masks when not actively participating/competing.
